Western Energy stated there was an outage within the Perth and East Perth areas — primarily alongside Hay Road — from 7.45am.
Some residents within the space complained of being stranded in pitch-black buildings, whereas motorists had been driving blind within the peak-hour visitors as dozens of visitors lights went black.
A spokeswoman stated energy was restored to buildings comparatively rapidly, with the longest wait being solely about 20 minutes.
