In a single day downpours have prompted big issues on Essex roads this morning.
Almost an inch of rain has fallen throughout Essex in latest hours, in accordance with the Essex Climate Forecasting Centre – and it is inflicting huge issues for these heading out and about this morning (Thursday, January 14).
At the moment, the M25, A12, A13 and A12 are all affected by flooding on elements of the highway.
The entry slip highway for the A13 westbound carriageway at A128 Brentwood Highway junction is at present closed attributable to flooding.
In the meantime, the A127 is dealing with issues at quite a few factors alongside the highway – with the Fairglen Interchange close to Wickford particularly affected with the roundabout utterly submerged.

The rain follows amber warnings for snow in northern England, which have warmed as they’ve migrated additional south.
